I watch Hazel Mae in the skydome (that's still the name, I dont care), after every Blue Jay win, absolutely gassing up these players in the most uplifting way that includes the fans and the vibes in the building, and wonder why tf that cant be done with the Leafs? From the broadcast, to the post game stuff, the entire vibe around this team needs to be absolutely reinvented.

I dont see McDavid signing for 7 years before this season is over. That makes no sense at all. Most dissapointing season in years, roster got worse not better... all AFTER he signed for two years. The pieces dont fit.

Doubtless AHL brass are thrilled the Marlies will be facing off against Chicago, instead of against three times more distant Colorado: the travel cost savings are going to be substantial. The Marlies should be pleased too, and not just because of the relative ease of a Toronto-Chicago commute. They won't need to surmount the disadvantage of competing against opponents accustomed to breathing a mile above sea level.

Jay Woodcroft imo makes the most sense given the youth side of team wil grow a bit and his past focus on speed high tempo and puck control and special teams excellence. Plus he is a Toronto guy, so he gets it. He has see what works with the Ducks under Quenville.
